Bio

Former Major Leaguer Rick White enters his second year on the Clark State coaching staff.

A graduate of local Kenton Ridge High School, White attended Paducah Community College before being drafted in the Major League Amateur Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1990. White enjoyed a lengthy career in the big leagues, where he pitched for 12 different teams over a 14-year span.

He had a career record of 42-54. He pitched for the 2000 New York Mets team that advanced to the World Series and for the 2002 St. Louis Cardinals that made the National League Championship Series.

White resides with his family in his hometown Springfield.
