Jomar Bailey and Brandon Hardin Earn All-Conference Awards

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has honored two players from the Clark State men's basketball team, as the conference announced its annual awards last week. Jomar Bailey was voted to the Second Team and to the All-Defensive Team, and Brandon Hardin was voted to the Honorable Mention Team.

 

 

Bailey, a 6-8 sophomore from Middletown, OH led the Eagles in scoring at a 14.6 points per game, ranking him Fifteenth in the OCCAC. His 6.8 rebounds per game rank him seventh overall in the conference. He posted seven double-doubles this season.

 

Hardin, a 5-9 freshman from Louisville, KY led the team with 2.9 assists per game and was second in scoring on the team at a 13.8 points per game. Hardin's 13.8 points per game ranked him Seventeenth in the OCCAC and his 2.9 assists per game ranked him Ninth in the OCCAC. He had six games this season where he scored over 20 points.

 

Clark State opened up March Madness with Sinclair in the first round of the District 11 men's basketball tournament. The Eagles came up short with on Tuesday, March 5 with a 99 – 74 loss. The loss ended the Eagles season, they finished with a strong 15 – 16 record.
