Clark State signs Karlie Alexander for Nursing, WBB

Karlie Alexander comes to Clark State from London High School, where as a senior she helped lead her team to a 14-9 record. During her Senior year she averaged 5.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.2 steals per game. Coach Etter said, "We are excited to have this intense defensive specialist in our program."

"Karlie is one of those basketball players that every coach loves to have on their team. You know that Karlie is going to come in every day to compete and work hard in the gym, and you are always going to get 100% from her. She is one of the most aggressive and energetic players I have had the opportunity to be around. Her energy, leadership, and effort is contagious when she is on the court" said London High School Coach Kevin Long about Karlie.

Karlie said she chose Clark State because, "When I came to meet the coaching staff and team, I felt a great connection; and coming from a small High School I felt like Clark State would be a great place to start my academic and athletic career at. I hope I can bring a defensive asset to the team and improve on my offense under Coach Etter. I look forward to making great friends and improving my basketball skills."

Karlie will major in Nursing.
