Bio

Head Coach Corey Steinke was hired on April 12, 2021, to become the Lady Eagles Women's Basketball Coach. Coach Steinke comes to Clark State from Bethel High School, where he served as the Head Varsity Girl's Basketball Coach for the past six years. Prior to Bethel, he served as the Head Varsity Girl's Basketball Coach at Ponitz Career Technology Center. He has an overall record of 110 - 102 as a Head Coach. 

Outside of the coaching world, he teaches at Bethel High School, as a Health and Physical Education Teacher. He has been a teacher for the past 16 years.

Over his 16-year coaching career, he has sent a number of student-athletes onto the college level to continue their playing career.

Outside of coaching, he teaches Health and Physical Education at Bethel High School. He has been a public educator for the past 16 years. He enjoys spending time with his children. He spends time with his family on hiking and camping trips to the lake. 

Coach Steinke states, "I am very blessed to have been chosen to lead the Lady Eagles Basketball team. Basketball is not only a sport, but it is a learning tool for athletics. Being at a two-year college, allows me to truly know a student-athlete, and help them achieve their goals." "Something my family has always taught me. Bigger is not always better." 

Corey resides in New Carlisle with his Wife Julie of 13 years and their three children: Oliva, Brady and Bryce. He is a graduate of Montpelier High School and Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Educational Leadership.
