Ready for Conference Play
The Clark State Eagles baseball team returned from their annual spring break tournament in Myrtle Beach with a winning record of 5-4, setting a new program milestone for the most wins during the tournament. The team competed against strong opponents, including Elgin Community College, Rochester Community and Technical College, and Mid Michigan College, among others.
Led by head coach Rick Antinori and assistant coaches Rick White and Ben Wright, the Eagles showcased impressive teamwork and resilience throughout the week. A major highlight of the trip was the team's historic first win at a stadium game in Myrtle Beach — a testament to the team's growth and determination.
Off the field, the trip fostered invaluable team bonding and chemistry. The players strengthened their connection by participating in daily beach activities and team dinners, further solidifying their unity as they head into conference play.
"We're really proud of the way the team competed and came together," said Coach Antinori.
The Eagles are optimistic about the road ahead as they kick off conference play this Thursday at Edison State Community College against Owens Community College. Game times are scheduled for 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Eagles as they look to build on their early success.
Stay tuned for more updates as the Eagles aim to make this a memorable season!
